Absolute pure, Undeniable GENIUS!

I was having a chat just the other day with someone when the conversation turned to business. I had a particular conundrum that I was still struggling with  – though I thought I was on the right path.  

What happened next blew my mind. You know those moments when it’s not just a door that has opened, but a door and several windows.  Suddenly what you thought was a problem to solve has become an opportunity for exponential  growth.  

Possibilities I hadn’t even conceived were given to me and I was instantly filled with gratitude and thoroughly bursting with new ideas.

To top it off – I was speaking with someone half my age. A Millennial.

The way he was able to see my situation not as a problem, but as a solution and also a catalyst to other opportunities was amazing. Though I tried to hide my utter surprise, I’m sure it showed through on my face and he could see the light bulbs going off in my mind.

To him, it was a simple lunch time conversation but to me, it was so much more.  It was GENIUS.

This is one very simple – yet profound – example of the capacity and business altering ideas that can come from working with millennials. It’s more than just communication. I call it the five C’s.

Communication. Culture. Collaboration. Connection. Consistency.

Each one of these have always carried its individual importance in business. But working with Millennials they now take on immense value.
